This Privacy Policy describes how SkillBinder, a division of Epoxy Dogs LLC ("Company," "we," "us"), collects, uses, and protects your information when you use MyPortrait ("the Service"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data transparently.

  • Email address: Used for order confirmation, delivery of your artwork, and support communication
  • Uploaded photographs: The photos you submit for artistic transformation
  • Payment information: Processed securely by Stripe; we do not store credit card numbers
  • Contact form submissions: Name, email, and message content when you reach out to support

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and interaction patterns
  • Device information: Browser type, operating system, and screen resolution
  • IP address: For security and fraud prevention purposes

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Service delivery: Processing your photos through our AI to generate artwork
  • Order fulfillment: Sending confirmation emails and delivering your artwork
  • Customer support: Responding to your inquiries and resolving issues
  • Service improvement: Understanding usage patterns to improve our AI and user experience
  • Security: Detecting and preventing fraud or abuse

4. Photo Storage & Processing

Your uploaded photos are stored securely on our servers (hosted via Supabase with encrypted storage) and are used solely for the purpose of generating your requested artwork.

  • Photos are transmitted securely via HTTPS
  • Photos are processed by OpenAI's image generation API to create your artwork
  • We do not sell, share, or use your photos for training AI models
  • Source photos are retained for the duration of your credit validity (up to 1 year) to support potential regeneration requests, then automatically deleted
  • Generated artwork is retained indefinitely for your access unless you request deletion

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate MyPortrait:

6. Data Retention

  • Account/credit data: Retained for the lifetime of your credit balance plus 90 days
  • Source photos: Retained for up to 1 year, then deleted
  • Generated artwork: Retained indefinitely unless deletion is requested
  • Payment records: Retained as required by tax and financial regulations
  • Support correspondence: Retained for up to 2 years

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your photos, artwork, and personal data
  • Portability: Request your data in a portable format
  • Objection: Object to certain processing of your data

8. Cookies

MyPortrait uses essential cookies for the functioning of the Service (session management, security). We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

9. Children's Privacy

MyPortrait is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will promptly delete it.

10. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted data storage, HTTPS transmission, and secure authentication. However, no method of electronic transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
